Quadra-Trac II® — Included as standard equipment with the Overland trim, the Quadra-Trac II system elevates your 4x4 capabilities with active torque distribution between the front and rear wheels as conditions dictate, along with a two-speed transfer case that allows you to optimize for tough conditions.
Quadra-Drive® II — The Grand Cherokee Summit and Summit Reserve trims include enhanced capability with the Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system. The active torque distribution capabilities of this system allow it to provide the axle with traction with 100 percent of the available torque. Its low-range ratio of 2:72:1 and standard electronic limited-slip rear differential ability help you power through when roads or trails are treacherous.
Class-leading towing power is available in the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Laredo and Laredo X trims with the two-row Grand Cherokee can both tow up to 6,200 pounds when properly equipped. Meanwhile, the entry-level Laredo A trim can tow up to 3,500 pounds, and all other trims, including the Grand Cherokee L three-row variants, have a 6,000-pound maximum towing capacity.

Offered on all trims except the Laredo A and standard with the Summit and Summit Reserve, this set of feature upgrades includes both mechanical and tech upgrades. On most trims, you get an upgraded alternator and cooling system, a load-leveling suspension, and auto-leveling headlamps to accommodate heavy trailers, a trailer hitch receiver and wiring, and a trailer hitch zoom function for the rearview camera. The Overland trim version of the package includes the hitch and wiring harness.
